Forever Joined in Song: A Community Celebration of Music and Resilience, and fundraiser for Shared Harmonies

Join us for an uplifting and inspiring afternoon as we premiere Forever Joined in Song—a powerful musical showcase celebrating community, creativity, and connection.

As part of CultureDale: Calderdale’s Year of Culture, this unique project has brought together people living with life-limiting health conditions and the people who care for them - to co-create brand-new songs that reflect their voices, stories, and strength. This includes people affected by dementia, Parkinson’s, mental health challenges and respiratory conditions such as COPD.

This event is in part funded Calderdale Council's Year of Culture 2024 fund. Any additional funds raised through ticket sales and fundraising  at the event will go towards supporting the continued running of our groups.

What to Expect:
Experience the debut performance of these original songs brought to life by our incredible participants. Alongside these new compositions, our groups from across West Yorkshire will be sharing their favourite songs from around the world. Expect a joyful, moving event that brings people together and challenges perceptions—through the universal language of music.

Doors: 3pm

Performance time: 3.30 - 5.30pm
