Come and join us for these half-day taster sessions at Tod College. Puppet artists Alison Duddle and Jonny Quick are making a giant puppet as part of Hebden Bridge Arts Festival's production and community event "The Man Who Planted Trees".
Come and take part in our taster sessions as we create different parts of the puppet. We will discuss the process of designing and creating the puppet. We will be working with clay, paper mache, wood. Some power tools will be involved in woodwork, and people can choose which areas they would prefer to be part of- there will be a variety of activities on offer.
Please note - the puppet will not be completed in these sessions, but will be visiting Todmorden as part of the Community Celebration Day on June 1st.
Please wear clothes suitable for messy work. You can sign up for one or all four workshops. Suitable for those aged 16+. Please donate what you can afford when booking your ticket.
