Age Without Limits is the Centre for Ageing Better’s campaign to challenge ageism for the benefit of all of us as we grow older.
As a member of the UK Network of Age Friendly Communities, voluntary and community groups across Calderdale are eligible to apply for up to £500 to host an event for the Age Without Limits Day on Wednesday the 10th June 2026.
If you are interested in making an application there will be 2 identical information sessions on Thursday the 8th January 2026 at 2pm and Tuesday the 13th January 2026 at 10am. The sessions will provide information about the application process. You are strongly advised to read the information documents attached before applying.

The deadline to apply is Sunday the 1st February 2026 at 5pm.
Earlier this year, Calderdale's wonderful Staying Well Team at Hebden Bridge Community Association along with the fantastic Marguerite from Chance to Dance hosted a day of music, dance, magic, poetry and more for Age Without Limits Day. Age Friendly Calderdale would like to encourage more voluntary and community organisations to apply for funding to host an event in 2026.
