A really special, exclusive Anne Lister community afternoon trip to see Northern Ballet’s Gentleman Jack at Sheffield’s Lyceum Theatre – this is Northern Ballet’s first new production in over five years and is about none other than Anne Lister!

In luxurious coach comfort we will depart from Halifax town centre and travel directly to Sheffield, dropping you off close to the theatre. Once there you will receive a complimentary copy of the colour programme before being shown to your seats; we have booked a block of seats together in the stalls section. There will be a bar available at the theatre for you to buy drinks or ice cream. The coach will then drive us back from Sheffield to Halifax town centre, dropping us all off where it picked us up.

Anne Lister Festival-style entertainment will be had on the coach – think a quiz and some general fun! You are welcome to bring your picnic lunches with you to eat on the way if you have attended morning activities and were unable to eat beforehand.

This is a very special opportunity with limited seating, which allows you to get to Sheffield without renting a car or the hassle of the train. It promises to be a truly unforgettable community experience to see this ground-breaking performance performed by West Yorkshire’s internationally renowned ballet company. Oh, and one other thing: feel free to dress up for this event as we enjoy an afternoon at the ballet!
