'My name is not asylum seeker!' will be an exhibition hosted at Halifax Central Library between 3rd May and 13 June 2024, with the opening event taking place from 16:00 - 17:15 on Friday 3rd May.

The exhibition is about the everyday lives and experiences of people who have sought asylum in the UK and is based on collaborative research between university-based researchers and people with lived experience. The research focuses on Halifax and Doncaster and was conducted in collaboration with St Augustine’s Centre in Halifax and Doncaster Conversation Club.
