Come and make up your own mind on this 'alternative' guided walking tour of Halifax.  See and hear about our historic town centre and some of our most iconic buildings from different angles and viewpoints!

Parts of the route are a little less salubrious than others - so we suggest that you don't come barefoot but that you do bring an open mind...

Tours start/end outside Discover Halifax, 10, The Square, Woolshops, HX1 1RJ.  Duration approximately 1½ to 2 hours.

Please note any children booked on the tour must be accompanied by an adult with a ticket for the event and remain the responsibility of the parent or guardian at all times. On this occasion, the route is not suitable for wheelchairs users.

Halifax Heritage Tours CIC has been set up and is run by volunteers who are passionate about the heritage of 'Magic Halifax'.  

Monies generated by ticket sales and donations will be put towards community and education projects to promote and preserve the heritage of Halifax.

Please note children must be accompanied by an adult. All walk leaders are DBS certified.

There are a limited number of places on each tour and places can fill up quickly, so it's worth booking early!
