Halifax Chamber Choir is holding a couple of tasters for singers who might enjoy performing chamber music. There will be two sessions, Tuesday March 31st and April 7th from 7.30pm in the Crossley Gallery at Dean Clough in Halifax.

Each taster will include choral music from the current concert programme which includes the Missa Brevis by Palestrina and motets by Lassus, Brahms and Bruckner and from the summer programme which includes English part songs.

Halifax Chamber Choir is based at Dean Clough, Halifax, and rehearses in the Crossley Gallery on Tuesday evenings 7.30-9.30pm. There are currently 24 members in the choir. Halifax Chamber Choir sings a broad repertoire of classical sacred and secular music, often a capella, from the Renaissance to the present day. The choir is directed by Aljoša "Josh" Škorja, a Slovenian conductor and musicologist.
